- Independent consulting of customers on functional safety topics across all phases of the safety lifecycle, and ideally also in the field of explosion protection
- Taking responsibility for our internal Functional Safety Management (FSM) system
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards in projects thanks to your in-depth knowledge
- Acting as an expert during acceptance testing and inspections of process control safety systems
- Actively contributing to the training and instruction of employees in functional safety
- Representing the company in technical committees and contributing to standardization work
- Leading project execution with the support of a project team of certified Functional Safety Engineers

Degree as Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor, or Technician in Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in functional safety
- Certification as a “Functional Safety Engineer” or comparable professional qualification
- Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. DIN EN 61508, DIN EN 61511, VDI/VDE 2180)
- Willingness to independently familiarize yourself with complex tasks
- Willingness to travel within Germany
- Strong consulting and advisory skills
- Good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Commitment, initiative, and strong team spirit
- Class B driver’s license
